Brimingwith is seeking participants/sponsors for a block by block redesign and renovation for cities who want to ensure a vibrant future for its citizens.  What do citizens want their city to reflect 2, 5, 10, 100 years from now?  This is a campaign of epic life changing proportions.  For the first time citizens can design the future of their city environs. 

From Rust to Riches

      Rust belt cities can become rich cities with many minds and hands working to redesign the landscape. Currently many cities have thousands of abandoned houses, dormant factories, vacant store fronts, empty strip malls, vacant properties as a result of the foreclosure crisis.  The urban decline is the result of depopulation, disinvestment and the decline in industrial manufacturing.  There is an innovative and exciting way to reverse this decline and make all cities spectacular spaces and places to live, learn, work and play.

Guidelines

     Individuals, organizations, schools and businesses can submit their redesign for a city.  The design can be in the form of a description with a drawing, models, video, slides or a written description with illustrations.   Futuristic elements which bring an innovative vitality are required.

     The design can include all or some of the following components.

Safety:  digital surveillance

Greenspace: Parks, gardens, recreation, landing pads for airborne vehicles, sculpture gardens

Venues : Golf,  extreme sports,  ice skating, roller skating,  tennis courts, basketball,  soccer, football, auto racing, fencing, boxing, bowling, cycling, darts, ice hockey, fencing, squash,  

Self Sustaining: Urban vegetable garden, Aquaculture, Vertical garden, RoofTop Gardens, Wall Garden

Housing: Modern housing with off street parking, digital housing

Transportation:  TODS  (transportation on demand),  electric vehicles

Business Enterprise:  Research & Development Centers, Space Science & Technology, homebased,  Chamber of Commerce, small businesses

Manufacturing: Robots, advanced appliances, space products

Education:  7/24/365 access to education

Future City Design Submittal:  Block/Area Captains and their teams are to submit their Design Projects to Zipcode Coordinators.  Once designs are selected funding for implementation via crowdfunding and flashmob building teams begin.
