Education: City Education Departments

           Below is a list of city education departments which have interesting and notable pages.  City of Baltimore has an Education Channel 77 on Comcast cable which features videos produced by students, staff and partners.  Camden, New Jersey has a page which recognizes students for overcoming obstacles and graduating from High School. 

       Camden also has an interesting  Summer Achieve Program.  Chicago Public School has a "We Want You Back Program with Student Outreach and Re-engagement Centers (SOAR) in strategic locations. This is a notable effort to get high school dropouts to drop back in.

       City are using a variety of strategies to stem the drop out rate in America and raise global education ratings.
